| A Little History about Arts in the Park Shoshone Arts in the Park is located on the historic grounds of the Lincoln County Courthouse. Shoshone was established in 1882 and Shoshone became the county seat. Shoshone is full or rich history from its lava rock buildings to famous faces that have stopped a paid a visit. In 1987 a group formed Junction City Arts Council and started to promote the Arts Festival. Later the event was called Shoshone Arts in the Park. Today the event features artists, food vendors, crafters, and more. Mannie Shaw Jamboree and the Idaho State Old-time Fiddlers Championship was added to the Shoshone Arts in the Park to bring a wonderful automosphere of music while shopping. |
| 25th Annual Shoshone Arts in the Park The Shoshone Arts in the Park is an annual event that takes place in Shoshone, Idaho on the 2nd weekend of July. The 2012 festival will take place on July 14th & 15th, 2012 The Lincoln Count y Chamber of Commerce has now taken over the Shoshone Arts in the Park and will resume duties to promote a quality art and craft show as well an event for the whole family to enjoy. |
